Mike and his 2021 Evora GT

Mike, what is your car and what drew you to it? My Car is a 2021 Lotus Evora GT, last production year for the Evora.  I had previously fallen in love with an earlier version of the car, a 2017 Evora 400 which I purchased back in 2019.  After owning my 400 for a good 4-5 years, I was ready for a new car but couldn’t find anything out there that I loved as much as the Evora.  What drew me to this one in particular was the color combination and the flawless condition it was in.

What’s special or unique about it?
Only 722 Evora GTs were produced for the North American market, 535 of which were manuals.  The Battleship Grey paint color was a “Premium” color option, most of which came with red trim (Interior Stitch, Brake Calipers, etc).  I’m not exactly sure HOW rare my color combination is (Battleship Grey & Yellow), but I safely assume it’s quite uncommon.

How have you made it “yours”?
Since purchased, I have added aftermarket GRP Tail Lights, Side Skirts, Front Lip/Splitter, Carbon Fiber Side Scoops, Carbon Fiber Vent Covers, Rock Guard Covers, Rear Brake Duct Covers, GRP Decat Pipe, Tinted Yellow Headlights, Mounted a Back Tow Hook and Font Tow Strap, Painted the Rims all Gloss Black, PPF Coating on the entire car as well as a ceramic coat.

How do you like to enjoy it most?
I enjoy it the most when I get her out of the garage and stretch her legs!

What’s the most fun you’ve had with your Lotus?
I’ve only owned this one for a year, so the Great KC Auto Show this year was probably the highlight so far!  I used to track my Evora 400 in NJ/NY and absolutely loved it.  Looking forward to getting the GT out there on a track soon!

What would your ideal car day look like?
My Ideal Car Day would be a long, curvy car cruise with a handful of great straights and a solid BBQ restaurant waiting for me at the end of the line.

Thank you, Mike!  We have to agree, the Battleship Grey really brings the design elements of the Evora GT together well.  Its an awesome car – one we hope to keep in our club for years to come.
